At Softline, investing in our team, knowledge and service quality is indispensable for us. How can our Microsoft Advanced Specializations help your business and why certifications are important? Zoltán Urbán, Regional Sales Lead explains the details.
By attaining Microsoft competencies, Softline demonstrates its proven expertise in delivering quality solutions in multiple specialized areas of business. Microsoft’s partners can exhibit their expertise in the following key areas:
- Applications and Infrastructure
- Business Applications
- Data and IA
- Modern Workplace and Security
‘Each area consists of multiple competencies, like Cloud Platform or Security, which are obviously crucial parts of our solution portfolio. So, obtaining the highest, gold level in 17 out of 18 existing competencies was an important goal for us’, told Zoltán. ‘Naturally, our work doesn’t end there, all of them have to be renewed and earned every year.‘
On top of the gold competencies, Advanced Specializations are demonstrations of highest level of services, certified experts, processes, tools and best practices with proven track record, references in the last 12 months – all audited by Microsoft. So, working with Softline, an Advanced Specialization certified partner means that our clients can be assured of the highest quality of the service, hence reducing the risk of their cloud related projects.
‘In any case, investing in new technologies can only be considered successful if the purchase and implementation is followed by the process of adoption. The Adoption and Change Management Advanced Specialization represents a strong commitment from our side to effectively support our customers in increasing productivity and streamlining workflows.’
Besides Adoption and Change Management, Microsoft has also validated Softline’s expertise and deep knowledge in multiple Microsoft Azure related Advanced Specializations. Kubernetes on Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization proves Softline’s expertise in deploying and managing production workloads in the cloud using containers and managing hosted Kubernetes environments. Linux and Open Source Databases Migration to Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization was awarded for migrating production workloads running on Red Hat Enterprise Linux or SUSE virtual machines (and/or MariaDB, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases in Microsoft Azure). Softline also earned Windows Server and SQL Server Migration to Microsoft Azure Advanced Specialization for our deep experience in migrating Windows Server and SQL Server-based production workloads to Microsoft Azure. Windows Virtual Desktop advanced specialization demonstrates Softline’s success in deploying, optimizing, and securing virtual desktop infrastructure on Azure with Microsoft Windows Virtual Desktop (WVD).
‘Softline’s deep knowledge and extensive experience is matched with proven success at delivering customer solutions. The international presence of the company contributes to knowledge transfer which, in practice, means that knowledge gained in the Asian region can be put to good use by colleagues in Central and Eastern Europe, and vice versa. The international knowledge covers countless best practices, so Softline is able to offer proven solutions to the majority of business scenarios. That is the real value which we can deliver to our customers,’ added Zoltán.
